Professional mastering for music recorded at Styles or mixed elsewhere.

Mastering is the final stage of the production process, preparing your finished mixes for release and helping them translate consistently across different playback systems.

At Styles Recording Studio in Exeter, we master singles, EPs and albums for artists working both in our studio and remotely.

WHAT DOES MASTERING DO?

A good master should enhance the mix without changing what makes it work.

The process can include balancing overall level, tone and dynamics, adding clarity and impact where needed, and making sure multiple tracks sit together consistently as a complete release.

For EPs and albums, we can also ensure the tracks flow naturally from one to the next in both level and character.

READY FOR RELEASE

Your final masters can be prepared for digital distribution and streaming platforms.

Where required, ISRC codes and appropriate metadata can also be incorporated into the finished masters.

If your tracks were mixed elsewhere, that’s absolutely fine — send us your final mixes and we can advise on the best files to supply before mastering begins.
